hey guys im selling my 2k SI to buy project honda and go all out. so heres where i need help. the 2k SI, i was driving it around, got home parked it up front to go and get a water bottle from the house. came back out and i turned the car on. i started to go and it was bogging and doin all this crazy ****. and my cel has been on for a while but didnt find time to check it out. so that day i went to autozone, and the cel was SUPPOSEDLY throwin a MAP sensor code. bought it, replaced it and turned it on. went for a drive, all was good. next day, i go into the gayrAAge(lol) turned it on headed to work. by the time i was at my first traffic light, it did the same ****. FUKBALLS!!! made a short vid with my phone. please help me out guys. ive heard diff **** from my friends. some say its bad injectors other say its my o2 sensors. anyways. since i bought the car, it burned gas and had a bad oder to it. my cel has been on since i bought it. oh and most importantly, it friggin redlines at 6k rpm. it pisses me off that i cant hang on vtec. help me out guys heres the vid on youtube . com.

what kind of ecu you have?

 

check your injectors and your ignition coil too mine was doin that as well.ignition coil was bad on mine

 

i have no clue wat ecu i have man. ill take a pic and post up here tomoro. as far as my injectorj, i checked those today. they are good. i took out my spark plugs, they all have carbon **** on them. they are all black. help me!!!!

 

Did your Check Engine Light ever go off?

Assuming it's still on, there's a nice little FAQ sticky at the top of this forum, which links to a thread that explains how to read the CEL by using a $0.01 paperclip. You don't have to trust some random guy @ a parts shop.

 

well i fixed the problem, but my cel is still on i cant go past 6k rpm still. least the car runs now. turned out to be bad coil and rotor. replaced it and boom my baby is back to life. i would still like to get that rev limiter prob fixed tho.

take a pic of the sticker on the ecu and post some pics.
