low idle

Default low idle

anybody know if a motor built for boost with low compression pistons in will idle low or could it be my cel. throw a atmopheric pressure sensor code. i also think i need it retuned cause the turbo has been on about a year an half. b16 motor incase you need to know

and the year and model of the car.

the CEL could be causing the low idle.

idles like around 300-700 it just seems very low to me it could be the cel or lower compression pistons or needs a new tune. hard to tell.

low compression isnt going to cause a low idle.

fix the obvious first (CEL) and get it tuned. if everything is fine the tuner can adjust the target idle with the program he uses.
