HEADLIGHT HELP

I searched around HT and couldn't find a solution so here I go. Ok so I just purchased these ebay black housing headlights for my EK and I am not satisfied with black housing. I want to try to attempt to recolor the housing to smoked, to match the CTR headlights. What color is used to all those that have done this?T

why not just buy ctr headlights? NOT from ebay!

paint them silver.. i remember seeing it done, looks real nice. gunmetal is still to dark

silver, chrome samething xP i want the ctr look on my headlights. so im guessing i look for a can of duplicolor gunmetal?

thank you actek23 i've been looking for this site for the longest! i thought it got shut down. woo hoo for you! o yeah since my housing already came black how can i remove the black? or can i just go ahead and paint over that?

it used to be under another name from a guy on clubsi... now its been transfered to another user on clubsi...

as for painting over it... i have no idea. might want to try the paint and body forum.
