You can search, noob or not.

With after market cam gears you get bling, abilty to play with cam timing, their are claims they save a bit of weight and are better for a timing belt. Not to be taken as fact at all but since you asked.

Personally, unless you have an aftermarket cam(s) of good size I see no point.

Stock setups and or just fooling with them is not worth it.

It's not about how fast and easy you get the info you want. I was out cutting my thumbs to learn this, I understand how cam gears work why and what to do with them, because I put the time in.

You know nothing more then what just one person told you. I'm not knocking you i'm just saying learn it right don't be just a parrot

The site is a database filled with a lot of information.

They are a waste, tuners won't even mess with them anymore unless you really ask, since it cost more money ( more hours ) to mess with cam gears which you won't even see that big of a gain.

Look into cams or cam .

okay, i'm not screwing around with my "cams" (lol) or anything else over my head for that matter. i'm just trying to better understand what the awesome parts in my care are, and/or what they do, and/or how they effect performance.
information.. that's all (for the time being).

i just want to be well informed just in case i do want to change things in my tiger ^_~

so, can someone give me a short discreption of what they do, and how they work? or is that a stupid question?
