95 auto civic swap

Default 95 auto civic swap

Ok I am looking to do a motor swap in my 95 auto civic.. I had a a ls motor for it but it didnt fit right I would have had to cut something and didnt want to do that..I was looking at the 92-95 DOHC zc swap and was wondering if that would fit with out having to cut anything.If you could help me out and let me know what i can swap my stock motor with I would prefer something DOHC let me know thanx

i wouldn't think you had to "cut" anything to actually get it to fit in there would be using b-series mounts

like mini-me said, use the b-series mounts or some hasports, i dont see why that ls wouldnt work but, if you want a another dohc, just get a b16 (which mouts the same as a ls i believe).

i believe you are correct, all b-series mounts are the same.

the alt hits on rear fire wall and the rear tranny mount hits before they line up and i need a swap for and automatic i dont want to change it to 5 speed

You need the auto to manual mount.

I would swap it to 5 speed but it is my wifes car and she likes the automatic.. I have never had a problem like this before. I swapped my teg with a type r and that was easy but this is giving me trouble. I have done a few swaps but cannot figure this one out.

Oh ok, i thought you were doing an auto to manual swap. You should be using all auto Integra mounts/brackets. What mounts are you using?

yeah i thought you were supposed to use the engine brackets and tranny brackets from a 94 up integra and use b series mounts???

i used all the auto ls mounts that came with the swap ......Does anyone know if the DOHC d16 zc swap would would fit without cutting anything

yeah the mounts but what about the engine brackets that attach to the mounts they have to be 94 and up tegs
