Default ls auto swap

Ok I'm doing a auto to auto swap in a 94 civic. My questions are do I need to get aftermarket mounts, and the shifter cable. Do I use the ls one or the civic one. I only done 5spd swaps before. Any advice would help

Default Re: ls auto swap

its gonna be a pain in the *** in a civic. the big *** auto tranny is going to hit ur frame rail and u will need to bend or cut and notch it to have it fit. which cutting is not recommended unless u reinforce it. many will tell u doing a 5 spd swap will take away the headaches. i believe the d series mounts are the same but u will need to use the T bracket off the auto ls transmission. im not too sure about the cables. im pretty sure they should be pretty identical. u can try the d series ones to see if they fit and if they don't work just swap out to the Ls cables. this is not going to just swap rite in like a 5spd ls would. goodluck
