CEL 14
Drivin to olive garden with my girl last night and all of a sudden the cel came on and when i came to a stop car idled really bad. Went home after dinner and pulled the code read 14= something with the IACV. Well reset the light went and drove around for 15min or so to see if it would come back on it didnt. But when i come to a stop the idle flucuates about 4 times then it is normal. Should I replace the IACV.
Car 96 gsr 118,xxx miles ALSO It has been ***** cold here i dont know if that could affect this and this happened to an extent last year but the cel didnt come on but idle flucuated. Any imput helps
I cleaned the iacv about year and a half ago as well as cleaned the TB

I had a similar problem to that one after I cleaned my IACV. The Problem was that the Intake manifold was still pretty hot when I screwed the IACV on and I guess that affected the seal that the little gasket in the IACV made with the intake manifold.
Perhaps that little gasket or seal or whatever it is called is not sealing correctly and causing a small vacuum leak. I would think that the seal is cheaper than an entirely new IACV. so you might want to try that first.
you could also check the FITV if the idle is fluctuating while the car is not fully warmed up yet.
