Default Apexi WS owners. I gotta a question.

How did the black coating hold up for you guys? In particular when snow and salt got a hold of it.

I got a 3" dc exhaust that was cut to fit a cheapo header and was planning on replacing it with the world sport and replacing the header with a megan racing.

Does everyone that owns this exhaust recommend it or should i consider something else for the price?

I've had mine for 2 years (2 winters as well) and there is no rust, no flaking. Looks like the day i got it but with some scratches on the resonator from speedbumps. So i would say its holding up perfect.

also for your second question. I would recommend the exhaust. Its nice and quiet and looks nice too. I actually wish it was a bit louder, can't really ever hear it over the engine/intake noise.

Thats kind of good that its quiet. I got a pretty decent exhaust leak right now just after the cat from where i cut it. All i hear is the insanely loud hum and the whisp noise it makes every time i shut it off. I think a quiet exhaust will be a welcome change.

Is it right to assume that if the diameter of the piping is smaller i should expect lower hp but higher torque compared to the 3"?

x2. I too am in love with the World Sport series. It is just quiet enough for daily driving and opens up quite nicely when you rev it out a bit

Alll depends on your setup/engine, etc.

Did they re-open RT.71 going up to starved rock yet? It was closed for the whole summer.

actually I don't know what they refer to themselves as. I just put o-town cuz it's the closest place of interest that i live near. As far as 71 is concerned I decided to stear clear for right now cuz of the snow still on most country roads. I don't think the plow makes many passes up there. But sunday should be nice with 50 degrees, however, I think its gonna flood in some places.
