Wideband / VAFC
Is a wideband controller a Fuel/Air controller, or a monitoring system for A/F system....
my understanding is the wideband controller is for monitoring, and the VAFC is the controller....

You are correct. A wideband is used to monitor the A/F and an afc is used to alter the fuel settings.
