vafc to regulate vtec....safc for wat? fuel regulation im guessing? just to make sure

 

The VAFC controls vtec and fuel, the SAFC just controls fuel. Think of the SAFC as the VAFC w/o the Vtec control function built in.

 

VAFC = Vtec Air Fuel Controller

SAFC = Map Sensor Air Fuel Controller

The Vafc is a vtec controller that has both vtec and fuel adjustments..

The Safc is solly an air/fuel controller that lets you tune your air fuel ratio and that also has a bigger range in adjustment in fuel settings over the Vafc....

so if the safc controlls more options wouldnt it be better to get say a fields vtec controller and get a safc whould that be better than just getting a vafc

 

No, you didn't get my answer right the safc doesn't controll more options it just gives you 10% more correction in your fuel settings than the Vafc.

By the way the if you have a vtec car and you want to be able to adjust the vtec points and your fuel settings go with the vafc because it has better tuning capabilities than the Fields because It lets you the user define eight points between 1000 and 7000 rpm in 100-rpm increments and tune those in the low cam position as well as high cam positions...
