Default Ball Joint Install Help 94 civic

I already searched but i cant find exactly what im lookin for...anyways well i had to replace the whole passenger front knuckle recently and everything bolted right back up fine EXCEPT the ball joint that connects to the upper control arm, i cant get the nut to tighten up so i can put the lil pin back in cuz the bolt turns with the nut....what have i done wrong...all help is appreciated!

have you tried using an impact wrench? i had the oppisite of your problem. the bolt would spin when trying to take it off....

use a big pry bar to force the ball joint/control arm down into the knuckle. usually works pretty good. even better with air tools. the threads arent messed up on the nut or the ball joint are they?

there not stripped i just think i messed up the boot alittle bit when i was taking it off...

whatever u do. becareful with the upper arm ball joint cause if ball join is damanged, u will have to replace the whole arm.

the lower ball joint has to be pressed in but upper low ball joint cant, u need to buy the whole arm

thanks guys i ended up using my jack handle and after a while i got it on...
