Buying Honda locks of Ebay....hmmmm
So here's the next trouble i've been having with my new car (95' civic hatch), my driver's side door lock is twitchy and hard to lock. The key just barely, sometimes after a few tries, gets the door to lock. Sometimes I'm afriad I'm going to break the key. Anyways, I'm thinking about getting a new set of locks....here's what I'm thinking of buying:

can these be installed into your factory door handles? How difficult is the install?

yeah they will fit and shouldnt be very diffcult to install.just tear the inner door panel apart a few push in pin/***** and 2 screws to be removed. and remove the window roller handle and u will see the whole door lock machnism.

dude.. if its stiff, lubricate them. I bought "jig-a-loo" and sprayed into the lock mechanism and it works wonders. I had the exact same problem when i first bought the car. People tend to forget that a lock, like any other moving mechanism, needs lubrication too!! Hope this helps
