If you're running a stock B20b, then its probably not a great turbo for your goals. B20's have weaker sleeves than the other B series blocks and aren't good for much more than 300ish whp. IMO, get a turbo that spools faster so you have a more usable powerband

itll work fine.

B20's can be boosted, just stay below 300whp on a "real" tune.

I agree, BUT why buy a turbo that is overkill for your setup?? Lag isnt exactly a desirable thing....especially on the street

it will spool fine. its a tad bigger than my last turbo and that was full boost (9 psi) and it was all good. i have seen a sleeve bearing t77 on a b16 and it was full boost at vtec crossover. and lag isnt all that bad on the street considering power + fwd = wheelspin. i would get it if its a good enough deal.

same here. i want traction at first and then power later when i can use it. to me lag is not that important for a few reasons. 1. driving around it will feel like n/a car until i get on it. 2. at the track lag doesnt really matter because if your set up is SET UP and you can drive there will be no problem. a 2 step set at the right rpm will let you launch at full boost.

i wouldn't want to boost very much off the line either i think a lower psi would be enough.... but i do agree with the rest of your statement LS AzZkIkr...
