The Apex-i VAFC should be tuned once you get it. Also keep in mind that the adjustments made on them (except for vtec) will be overwritten by the stock ECU after time. The stock ECU will eventually compensate for any tuning that's been done on the VAFC.

interesting. i never heard of that before, is this only on the s2k ECUs. care to go into detail about this further?

simply tune the Vafc then about once a week disconnect your battery to reset your ecu make sure to write down all your settings as a back up. this will prevent your ecu from returning the car back to a stock Map after tuning on a piggyback
