I have been getting a CEL7 which is TPS.... on my jdm b18c eg I replaced the TPS with one I got off my friend from a D series. I installed it got it all dialed it to oem specs. I didnt use a gasket because I couldent find one but i have heard you dont need them. One week later im getting the same code. I checked all the wiring going to the ECU all looks good. The CEL is not always on. On some trips it comes on... on others it doesnt. You thing I just got a shotty TPS? What could I try? Should I just buck up and get a new tps from some b series at honda?

Try different Dizzy if its a jdm swap then id def try a USDM dizzy

 

do u have a temp sensor in the intake pipe? that threw the same code on my JDM B16 swap.

pretty sure i dont have a tem sensor in the intake pipe

just wondering what would a usdm dizzy do it never use to throw that code before till the last couple weeks
