inpust shaft bearing question ?
ok, the other day i started my car foot on the clutch. i heard some gurgling or whatever you want to call it. foot of the clutch no noise. and so on. I dont know if it has been doing this everytime or not. The question is when i go and start the car if i hear this again is it normal or am i in for some costly repairs down the road. please let me know the truth so i can start looking for a new car if needed.
do u have an after market cat? If so It could be the heatsheild rattling or it could be clutch related possibly the throwout bearing?

if the problem was an input shaft bearing the sound should go away when you
press the clutch down and appear when the clutch is up.
release bearing same way.

ok, i just took my piece of crap around for a spin, the noise occurs right when i start it up and clutch in, no sound when clutch out, but when i drove it around and listened, i heard nothing. i dont know if its me or the car is giving me warning signs. Thanks for the help
