burning off oil in cylinders
i just started a car with a motor that had been sitting for ~3 years. about a year ago i had put a cap full of oil in each cylinder to try to preserve it the best i could. when i started it yesterday it smoked pretty good and you could tell that it was being burnt off
now, its been ran for about 30-45 minutes total and there is still some slight whitish smoke coming out.
do you guys think this could be normal? or do i probably have some engine problems?
btw, i do have check engine codes 16 & 43 but those are fuel codes so i dont think that has much to do with the smoke

Regarding your code 16...
That code sets whenever there is a break in the electrical circuit for the injectors. It starts at the battery, through fuses and ignition switch, main relay, injector resisitors (if so equiped), injector coils, a lot of connectors and wire, and ends at the ECU.
Just a heads up.
