Mines not ebay chipped, It was chipped when I converted it from auto to manual, The motor doesnt go past 7200 ever. And thats VERY rare to go that high. It was just all done at the same time by a reputable shop, cause when I bought my car it had the DX ECU running the Z6 and I had an auto P28 ECU in my shed, So I got it converted and chipped at the same time.

hmmm well to convert an auto to manual tranny u just jump the RP17 and RP18 resistors in the ECU, not sure if I completely understand what happened here with urs being chipped.. But a DX ecu wouldnt run a Z6 to good considering DX isnt set for vtec...

Exactly, It didnt run worth a **** and had no vtec, (Car was turbo'd and previous owner took the turbo setup and his tuned ecu, and left me with the DX) My friend does ecus and wiring all day long, I got him to convert it (jumper) and he chipped it at the same time. Im not good with soldering and this is his living so he just did it all at the same time. Im not trying to ruin this guys thread, I was just saying you can chip it to remove speed govenor, and that mine was chipped, I dont take it that high and never will but like I said, It can be done
