Hey...Ive Started buying parts for my car that i plan to build in the spring when the snow melts....Im looking for some info on Nitrous...id really like to get it....Im new to nitrous i dont know too much about it....Im new to the whole honda thing too but tyhis what i got....A 1995 Integra GSR....109000 miles....its stock right now with only an intake....but this is what ive got to put on....new intake..header exhaust...edelbrock intake mani....68mm throttle body...im going to build the head with brian crower stage 2 cams....skunk2 ti retainers and dual valve springs....and i still have to order valves and what not....skunk2 cam gears....ARP head studs and a new head gasket...and a B&M fuel pressure regulator and gauge... i think thats it....i plan on leaving the bottom end stock....i was thinking about just getting a 50 dry shot....but i really would like to hear some opinions and suggestions on my set up....My main concern is reliablility....its most likely going to be a daily driver...im not going to take it to the track or anything im just looking to build a nice fun car and start a new hobby.... Let me know what you think and what else i need or should get.....im open to everything just dont have an a-hole attitude....Thanks guys i appreciate everything....

wet kit only, unless your going to run a stand alone ecu to do the compensation of the the dry shot. that stock bottom end won't get you very far either if you plan on spraying it constantly.

 

IMO i'd go with a wet kit also, there a little more expensive but worth it because you get the fuel spray along with the n2o

and as far as the reliability factor, it all depens on how often you spray and the size shot your running. one of my buddies sprayed a 75 shot on his b16 for 3 months, but sprayed the thing every chance he got then it dropped a valve, but ive got friends spraying a 100 shot for over a year now with the motor still running strong

 

yeah i def. dont want to spray all the time...i just want to have it on a switch and be used at full throttle....so what about 50 wet shot....that should be good right...like i said im not trying to have a super fast car...but if someone wants to go for a ride i want to make it fun for them ya know....thanks for your guys input...any more would be greatly appreciated....

 

Jets don't cost much ,start with a 20 or 30 shot untill your comrortable with the way it runs and go up from there. Look up the fuel to nos tables from differant manufacturers on the web, also if you look @ sears you can find little drill bits to adjust or make the jets you want.

Some people are set on nitrous because of the advantages it has...low maintenance, very strong low end torque which is awesome on the street especially since his car is gonna be a daily driven street car that never sees the track I'd say that nitrous would be good for him, and a lot of people will swear up and down that nitrous is the best bang for the dollar and I tend to agree...

 

imo go with the NX import efi wet kit, you will love that kit I'm telling you...

 

wet kit I LOVE'd mine

by the way I have a NOS GSR plate kit sitting in my garage, it makes your NOS kit a direct port wet kit, best thing for a GSR.

 

you have a good list. if you get it tuned go for around a 80-100 wet. if you aren't do a 50-60. I ran mine on the dyno with different jets until I got what i wanted, the NOS rated jetting for said horsepower was pretty off. I ran it up till i got an additional 220HP and 200TQ it was a blast and suprised many V8 cars, especially LS1's and vettes.
