help diagnosing codes
i got these codes
po300,po301,po302. these are for 1 and 2 cylinder misfires. now i did a search and they have similar symptoms. i started the car and it was idling like it was going to shut off , when driving it seemed fine. everytime i start the car this would happen. when i rev up the rpm then it starts to miss , or chug. check engine light came on. i was taking it to a mechanic later in the week. we were trying to see if there is a direct fix to try first . were gonna pull plugs , wires, and then go from there. any ideas? btw, i just had the distributor cap replaced about a year ago.

a random misfire can be caused by a couple of things.
what year is your civic? what motor/ecu do you have?

Sounds like a good start, more so depending on how old they are, they probably need replacing.
Also, check your timing!

Year, makes, and model of car please.
Some Civics are covered under a 150,000 extended Honda recall/warranty coverage due to misfire codes.
Before you do anything else let us know what type of car it is.
