Default running issues

ok so i drive an ej1 and i threw cel 9 a month ago so i replaced the distributor. which fixed the issue with the cel. but now when i start the car and either hit the gas a lil bit or reverse it a lil bit it wants to die it drops to like a couple hundred rpms and everything dims down like its gonna die then catches itself and hops back up in the rpms.

and sometimes when it does this it will actually die and when i go to start it back up it takes awhile for it to actually start up and sounds like it is running on 2 or 3 cylinders and it will finally work itself out of this.

is it the distributor or what????

Yes, they're not even a year old, therefore they MUST NOT have ANY part of the problem, right?

ummm i have done inspected them if i had any problems with them then i would of said hey guys i thinks my wires are bad

and if there was a problem with them the problem would be consistent and not just when the engine is cold
