Default Vaccum leak at Intake Manifold

I believe I have vaccum leak around my intake manifold area. I noticed the other day there was a sound that sounded like air being sucked in through an intake, which was unusal as mine is not loud. The noise will occasinaly stop and my idle will settle down a little. This also changed the sound of my air intake, when I am at WOT there is a deeper sound, and it almost sounds like a quiet suburu, as funny as that is haha. I am wondering what lines I should check and where I should look for this possible leak. It sounds like it is coming from the under side of my intake manifold on my GSR.

Thanks alot!

Has the idle increased? I doubt that a vacuum leak would change the sound of the intake at WOT.

It has increased and flucuates. Then the noise will stop and it decreases. That noise was there before I converted to OBD1. After I converted the noise stayed and I have a weird sound at WOT. I'm stumped.

That sounds like the symptoms of a vacuum leak. Either listen intently or spray some carburetor cleaner to locate the leak.

I don't believe its at the manifold gasket, becuase the noise doesn't come from there. Comes from more around the back/bottom.

I found a vaccum line that was plugged with a screw...sweet. That fixed the intake sound at WOT. The other noise is still there, and it sounds like its coming from my tranny. Could it be my flywheel being noisy and spinning?

Yes, the flywheel spins.

You're going to have to describe this noise or post a video.
