how to fix DOMELIGHT i need to know how to fix

there is no power

 

need a little more detail bud.......

 

when i open the door the light do not came on
the fuse is ok

 

I'm guessing you have a '96-'98 Civic?

Removing the stock radio makes the dome light no longer work. If you have keyless, that will also stop working.

There are directions on the site that show you how to wire it to fix it, but I can't think of a particular thread offhand.

 

is the bulb out?

Mine did the same thing and my friend was putting my alarm in and the wire under the steering wheel was just snipped. All I know that is was white and it was just hanging out there attached to nothing. I have a different CD deck in and it still works. The dumbass that owned it before you prolly cut it. Sorry thats all I know though.

 

you may need to disassemble the swith at the light and clean the contacts. ive had to do this on eg's before.
