Check out the link, part number 15, its cylinder head, passenger side, closer to the front of the car, in front of the distributor.

It's directly below the VTEC solenoid, just in front of your distributor. Should have a green plug on it [I'm basing that off an OBD1 car].

I just threw a little more oil in it and reset the light. Hopefully it won't come back on. I am trading it in a 02 WRX and the dealer said it can't have any check engine lights on it. They are giving me $4500 for trade, that is awesome.

$4500 for a 98 gsr assuming with a clean title and low miles, that's not bad for a dealer trade in offer. I paid 4200 for my 97 gsr with 32k miles 2 years ago.

Good deal.

One tip, if it does trip a CEL again ... don't hit VTEC, haha. It usually takes 10-15 seconds while in VTEC for the CEL to light. When I first build my B20VTEC swap, I didn't have a plug for the sensor, and it ran with no CELs until a hard 3rd gear pull on the freeway, and it'd light up the dash like a christmas tree.

Thats the thing. I hate the car. The miles are unknown because the VSS was broke for about a year, but I am guessing about 120,000miles and the dealer knows it, oh and it was wrecked according to carfax, they must be desperate for business. They are just going to auction it anyway.
