CEL 22. Where is it at and how to fix?
New CEL came on today. Code 22 VTEC Oil Pressure Switch defective circuit or unplugged / defective oil pressure switch. Where is this switch located? 98 GSR
Check out the link, part number 15, its cylinder head, passenger side, closer to the front of the car, in front of the distributor.

I just threw a little more oil in it and reset the light. Hopefully it won't come back on. I am trading it in a 02 WRX and the dealer said it can't have any check engine lights on it. They are giving me $4500 for trade, that is awesome.
Good deal.
One tip, if it does trip a CEL again ... don't hit VTEC, haha. It usually takes 10-15 seconds while in VTEC for the CEL to light. When I first build my B20VTEC swap, I didn't have a plug for the sensor, and it ran with no CELs until a hard 3rd gear pull on the freeway, and it'd light up the dash like a christmas tree.

Thats the thing. I hate the car. The miles are unknown because the VSS was broke for about a year, but I am guessing about 120,000miles and the dealer knows it, oh and it was wrecked according to carfax, they must be desperate for business. They are just going to auction it anyway.
