cel 22 VTEC Oil Pressure Switch defective circuit or unplugged / defective oil pressure switch
CEL 22 help
I smoothly downshifted from 4th gear to 3rd gear and my CEL came on when I was in 3rd gear at 5800 RPMs.
I checked the code and this came up, CEL 22 VTEC Oil Pressure Switch defective circuit or unplugged / defective oil pressure switch
I know I had enough oil in the engine because I checked it before i drove.
Where is the VTEC Oil Pressure Switch located? Is this a serious problem? how can i fix this if it's a problem. I unhooked the battery for 10 minutes. Hope it doesn’t come back. thanks in advance for any help given

It may have just temporarily lost pressure.
The sensor is right behind the distributor, it is light green. Check to make sure that the connector is clean and well plugged in, otherwise just forget about it.
