Default LSD not working?

Bought a JDM ITR motor from a warehouse and my LSD was working fine the first day then after a few days it stopped working. I only put 20 miles on the whole motor/transmission setup and ever since then my car has been sitting since then. When i put my car on jack stands only 1 wheel spins and the other stays in place. During the first day of the swap there was oil leaking out from the right side where the axle gets popped in and i thought the transmission had oil in there, but it turns out there was only 3/4-1 quart of oil in there. I flushed/replaced the transmission with 2.2 quarts of HONDA MTF fluid and my gears are working perfect, but I'm still worried about the LSD. I heard when you have LSD your car will grip better during fast shifts/less wheel hop, but i haven't gotten on the gas at all since I'm trying to take legal actions with the warehouse.

Any suggestions?

jack it up, put it in 1st gear, spin one wheel by hand. if the lsd is ok then the other wheel should spin the opposite way

do you remember if there was a diff pin in the midle of the diff or not ??????
an easy way to check is to pul the axle out and look into the diff,,,, an lsd diff will not have a diff pin running perpendicular to the axle .... if you see the large pin then you have an open diff.

What you are saying is true for an open differential.

when the axles were out i could see straight through the transmission.

You cannot tell if the lsd is working with the car in the air or turning one wheel. I can jack up the front of my car and spin one wheel at 80 miles an hour and hold the other. Read up on the itr diff, its not a clutch style

just go out to the car and rev it to 5k and drop the clutch, if both tires leave rubber your good. If not, well...

Just do it on a flat surface.
