LS Turbo only revs when the throttle is closed.,..
Ok so heres the situation...
Out of nowhere my LS turbo just stalled out on the road and didnt want to move forward at all when i pressed the gas. The revs wouldnt hold up at all if i maintained constant throttle position however when i push the throttle in it will sputter, but when i let out the throttle it will rev up... So the only way it stays alive is if i rev the gas constantly....Not even in gear.....
Setup:
Log mani
MBC
Precision SC60
DSM 450s
chipped p28 on crome

basically it only wants to idle... so im thinking when you introduce more air it wants to die...i would say a fuel delivery issue or lack of delivery... or possibly timing, as in the belt jumped. i would check the map sensor hose and connection, the timing belt for being on the maks, make sure you have enough fuel in the tank....
thats where i would start anyway.

It's a turbo Honda, why would it have a MAF?
OP: Car throw any codes?

Just asking you never know what set up people are running now a days. There are piggy backs out there that let you do a blow threw mas.
I would still start by checking all the connections on the i/c.

but that would ONLY affect it if it did have a MAF. and it shouldn't. not bein rude turbodano but it could be misleading to someone that dosent really follow or understand what you are saying.

i agree with this ^
Also check the ecm and make sure the harness isnt loose or your chip is seated properly

There is no fuel pressure regulator on the car...so I am not sure what the pressure is....I have been through 2 different P28s so unless both are busted then I doubt that is the issue. I will check the MAP today.
Car is not throwing any codes. Stay tuned for updates

thats why its always good to have a fuel pressure gauge. i have one and it can be a real life saver sometimes when it comes to diagnostics. i had a friend that worked on his car for hours on the side of the road i came out and fixed it in 15 seconds. he had zero fuel pressure and the fuse was blown for the fuel pump. his inline wiring shorted out.

How far away are you?
You can always bring it back over and I can hook up the laptop and probably figure it out pretty quickly whats going on.
I'd guess the map sensor is the problem as well...
