h22 civic rapid thudding/bumping noise from under car...
as title says...
so he had tein s-techs on the car and then we went to a skunk2 sleeve type coilover.
one day he banged second gear, bent an axel and broke the driver side motor
mount. we then replaced both axels wth new acura integra oem axels from honda
and got a halfshaft off a friend that had a mint accord.
we also replaced the driver side mount with a bracket and thru-bolt style mount (hasport style) engine doesnt move at all now which is good.
BUT.
under hard acceration and when turning (depending on how fast you drive) the car makes a rapid fire bumping/thudding noise that feels like its coming from undereath the car.
I cant tell if its from the rear or front but i think its one of three things:
1. the exhaust bumping up under the car
2. the upper shock mounts are completely done.
3. lack of alignment after doing the coilovers throwing of the camber/toe
my friend thinks its the wheels rubbing but we raised the car and it still does it. its getting very cold in these parts and troubleshooting is a pain. ill take it to my friends shop for him o look at but that wont be for a few days. so im wondering do u HT ppl have any ideas?

it sounds like it might be the axles. what integra where those oem axles from ? cause i think u need to use da's mind shafts w/ accord or prelude inner cv joints. i would say go back to the tien's. and get an alignment done for the car. just my $.02
