Default go turbo not to go turbo.

hey guys i am a former turbo guy and now i am all motor. i drive a right hand drive integra with jdm front end and it seems like i am missing the front mount on it. back then i first used to be type r turbo and pulled 262whp all stock wit thicker head gasket and 10 psi on hondata. then i sold that motor and went with gsr turbo and pulled 357whp. all stock again on 10 psi. now i am back to all motor wit type r and i want to go turbo. but should i go type r turbo or gsr turbo. i want to go gsr turbo but i dont like buying motor that i dont know too much history behind it. i like my type r but i want to pull atleast 300 whp. what you guys think i sohould do?

Why go na after turbo? It sounds like you had some sweet set ups in the past. Get boosted asap.

no need to switch to gsr to get 300whp, u can do it with the type r without lowering compression.. just get a proper tune..

It's your motor and you've experience FI already so there's really little to nothing this thread has to offer.

If you don't like not knowing a motors history you can at least purchase the motor from a reputable shop that gives you a start-up or a 30 day warranty.
