k, so a buddy and i swapped the old d16z6 out of my 93 si into his 95 dx. we used his auto tranny, and after we got it in, it fired right up, ran great, and we just let it idle for about half an hour. he pulled out of the driveway, sounded fine, and when he got about a mile down the road it started missing and sputtering. He barely got back to my house and now it won't even run. When the key is turned on, the speedometer jumps all over the place and theirs a relay clicking over and over in the dash. We used a p28 ecu from an auto ex, along with the dizzy, harness, injectors, everything from my z6. Whats going on? could this be a problem with the dizzy, maybe voltage regulator?

 

Sounds like a missed wire or bad ground.
Go back and check all your wiring. A fair amount of times when some issue like this arises, it can be attributed to a missed ground, wire or sensor.

 

Thanks for the input, we did check all the wiring though, we even traced all the plugs and marked them off on the old harness to make sure. also checked all the grounds.
