D16Z6 Swap... HELP

Icon6 D16Z6 Swap... HELP

ok so im a newbie first off just got my first honda... 95 civic lx sedan P.O.S. ... for now... it has a REALLY bad off D15B7 in it now i got a D16Z6 for CHEAP so i plan on swapping them... only problem is i dont know anything about honda ECU's or if the D16 will even mount to the man tranny that is on the D15 anyone care to shed any light on what im doin here???

The transmission will mount up, but the gearing will be very tall from the D15b7 transmission, you will also need the transponding ecu from the D16Z6 (a P28 ecu), as well as a wiring harness from a 92-95 ex or vx (you can also manually add the necessary wires to your existing wiring harness, which is outlined in the link above).

P.S. I would HIGHLY recommend that you also swap your transmission to an ex/si tranny if you are looking for more performance.
