Im interested in adding some mroe power to my civic, like veryone else in the world. I have a 97 ex with the stock d16y8, 90k miles on it. Im interested in either a greddy bolt on kit or a JSRC kit. I know the supercharger will be more reliable, however what are the pros and cons of each setup?? Also which one would get better gas millage? thanks in advance
-turbo equals better fuel economy
-supercharge instant power at the push of the pedal but less mpg. I personally am supercharged on both of my cars. I have boosted and just ran into to many probs.
-I say supercharge if daily driven and boost to let hell loose

With a greddy kit you will feel full boost at low rpm just like a supercharger.
There both great options but choosing between the 2 is not important unless you plan on upgrading components later on to make the car even quicker. In this case, I really doubt you will ever build your bottom end so you wont be upping the boost to much which means any upgrades you do to those kits will be so minor it all comes down to your preference. Good luck.
