Default Preferred intake manifold 4 Turbo K20

-Just wanted to get some opinions on an intake manifold for a boosted K24 into an EP3 i am doing.

I wanted to see what people were using, such as the Stock K20Z, K24, K20A3, aftermarket? custom, etc

HP goal is mid 500s, Turbo is a 35R, manifold is an Peakboost K series Sidewinder Equal length.

gimme some other options

i have seen one on an EG/K20 i tuned it had a throttle body plate welded to it with a new 70mm RPM service throttle body, but it was N/A. Last month he wanted to sell it and he said something like 700 dollars, is that a correct number?????

i have seen a few more out there with the throttle bodies in the center of the manifold, pointing downward, any idea?

Get hold of Bert-O ( Autoway), he sells tons of the RBC manifolds. The adpater plate is fairly cheap or just make one.

the RBC for a turbo or NA setup will give you stupid topend compared to the stock manifold. i say its the best bang for your buck everything thing else you have to wait a year to get in line and it will cost you as much as your whole turbo setup

no, the rbc doesnt have that. The RBC will gain alot over stock manifold, however im going to do a test here in next month or so of RBC vs other intake manifold. Will post results.

great, right now i have the K24 2 piece intake manifold and was looking at it, i see some rooms for imporovements and was gonna bust out the welder and make some stuff for when i finish the swap and see what i can get out of a little custom unit, i figure instead of throwing it away, why not try a couple things with it

Got money, go with AFI!!

If not, can't go wrong with the RBC Bert-o is a great guy for it.

AFI looks sick but were keeping it in the EP3 chassis, i dont know if it will clear

ALSO were are going to keep the K24 head, so this promotes yet another issue of running a head flange adapter for the RBC, or a throttle body adapter for the euro intake

kinda havent made up my mind yet

Does the afi manifold runners keep the same angle of the intake port? It doesnt seem like it from the pics, there is a reason why the stock manifold runners are the way they are.
