Why no high redline ?

Haha, that's very nice power on the stock block. You're using KPro for your EMS right?

cause its a stock bottom end and there is no need to risk chucking parts out the block when the car makes good power and runs fast enough shifting at 8300!!

Right... which is why his car is still building power up to his redline / fuel cut. The reflash alone brings the revs to 8600 so with cams and a valvetrain, his car should be able to take 9000 on the stock block...

correct, when the car was all motor i reved it to 9k, but 600+whp is alittle different than 250whp NA, so ill play it safe and keep it at 8200-8300.

WhoawoahWHOA there Chief... didn't the dyno operator tell you? You're not supposed to stop revving it until it turns into a $10k lawn ornament, or until your credit cards are on fire. You should be thinking with your adrenal glands like the rest of us.

Remember, it's not a car, it's a machine that makes the dyno work and spit out cool numbers to post on H-T.

That is just fu kin ridiculous, those k-series are starting to impress me more and more. The full-race stuff is also very nice and power proven. Ive seen na k's just dominate, its gotta be a beast to be replaceing the B-series.
