from a dead stop i have trouble getting into 1st...its not really a grind, its just tough, almost as if i have to force it... if i were rolling into gear it goes easy...
i dont want to assume a bad tranny...bushings?

 

I think that's fairly normal. When I have trouble going into first, I'll try shifting into 2nd or 3rd - then going into 1st, and it usually goes right in.

 

From what my brother told me that is cause by a worn out throw-out barring. my gsr has the same problem but i just dbl clutch when putting it in 1st

 

Mine does the same exact thing, I just deal with it.

 

has anyone mentioned letting the car roll back for a second yet?

 

if you put the clutch pedal to the floor usually helps.

 

you might have some air in your lines, try bleeding the clutch
