Alright guys!!! I am debating on if I should keep the clutchmasters stage 3 clutch I got with a car I bought from a friend or sell them and go with something a little better? My future build plan: hitting 500+ horse on a b20 vtec build in spring.(Almost ready yah!!!)

Anyone ever use these in their ultimate build before? How well do they perform?

If I do sell, how much can I get for these now? It's been a while since I've seen these around, but it's NEW!!!

Give me some inputs!!!

if you are serious about making 500+hp then that clutch wont hold that power.

for up to around 350-400hp it should be OK as long as you dont abuse the **** out of it.....

 

Thanks for the input. I was hoping it wouldn't be that low, but I guess it's time for a better clutch.

I am running the unorthodox racing 6 puck making 479 whp in boosted civic, I love it and have not had any problems. Lately the competition clutches have caught my eye though, and they do not look that pricey either!

 

Talk to Luis at Clutchmasters maybe go with a fx600. Perfect for your combo.
