what clutch for a dd with 450whp 300+tq
well my car has a stage 5 clutch thats unsprung and i cant stand it, i know it will hold the power but for a daily driver its more of a nuisance then anything
went to the track tonight n/a and snapped an axle, first one ever out of 8 years of racing honda's and i believe its partly due to the on/off nature of the clutch
what would you all recommend for 450+ hp and 300+ tq that will be daily driveable, ive had a competition clutch sprung 6 puck at 350whp and it held that nice and was easily driven but idk if it could hold the power i will be making

well you can get the competition clutch stage 5 sprung hub clutch. 4 puck or 6. im running a 4 puck stage 5 on my turbo gsr. the differance in sprung vs unsprung might help with clutch chatter.

Started with a Tilton twin. It was driveable but really touchy. Just recently changed to a Spec Stage 3+. Much easier to drive on a daily basis, holds really well and requires much less pedal pressure. No more killing the engine on fast stoplight starts. No chatter in reverse. Like a real car again!!

Thats odd, I've run, sold n installed many CC stage 4 n 5's. and they are real easy to drive on the street.

ACT XTR6 w/ Xtreme PP. Been proven by me and my friend to hold 430+ft/lb's daily (E85 street boost and has held over 30 launches with 24.5's and it still no slippage on my friends hatch. I put 4k miles on mine at the same power level and it still feels new.
