We are checking out the main fuse box in the engine bay of the 90 CRX HF. Which wires connect to the two screw ports on the left? Right now we have 1 wire spliced into two coming from the battery. Should the wire go from the battery, to the starter, then from the starter to the fuse box? Which colored wires go in the other port next to it? Help!
Where do the red and black wires come from?

 

 

the way it sits in the picture the right side is from the battery, the left side is the 6-8ish gauge white wire from the alternator.

 

yes, this would be correct as the wire closer to the outer side of the box is for the battery and the inner wire goes to the alternator. the one for the starter draws straight off the battery itself

 

Thanks. Do I need to run a wire straight from the alternator to the fuse box? Or is it somewhere in the harness?

 

if that part of the harness hasn't been touched, then it's still there, you will just have to extend it to fit inside where your fuse box has been relocated. if not, then just run some 10ga or larger wire from the alt to the fuse box.
