it b better to buy whole vtec engine for a 1000$ than buy a head 4 400 an gasket kit 4 300 n son on. then u can run the vtec fuel solenoid off of the negative side of your coil. and if u figure out wat to do wit the cam/crank sensor plug letme no

vtec engine for $1000! I hope you aren't referring to a SOHC. The SOHC VTEC engines can be had for much much less.

The swap section in the FAQ's is where to do some research, reading about the swap is better than just getting a parts list. If you do some research you can keep yourself from sounding like this,

Wow, Did you pay $1000 For the F23 you just swapped. In a matter of 5minutes I found a complete F23 with ECU local for $550. And a complete F22B1 (160,000km), 5sp tranny, ECU and full wire harness for Under $1000.
B1 head = $150- 2 tops
Head gasket = $45, Valve cover gasket set $30
I have no idea where you are getting $400 for a head and $300 for gaskets. He doesn't need a master engine rebuild kit.
I have no idea what you are talking about when you are talking about hooking the VTEC fuel solenoid???? to the coil???? don't confuse this guy with your lack of knowledge. All the OP wanted to know is what perts he would need to do a head swap. Doing a bit of research and using a proper VTEC ECU would solve any wiring problems.
