Default need help "electrical problem"

... ok.. i was adding LED strips on the back of my license plate and i guess the two wires for the bulb accidently touched each other and "i think"... burnt a fuse. this is where the problem starts... when i flick on my lights... only my headlamps turn on. my interior dash lights do not turn on at all and my tail lights also do not turn but my brakes lights turn on. i checked the fusebox and checked each and every one of the fuse and none looked like it was burnt. the only ones that i did not check were the dimmer and light relay which i think is the source of the problem...

if anyone has suggestions or ideas... its welcome ?

Check your fuses again until you find the one that blew...

fuses. Either you blow a fuse or your car would catch fire, and assuming your car didnt burn to a crisp, you blew a fues somewhere.

all those lights are on the same circuit/fuse anyways are they not? one fuse probably blew.

Next time your working on electrical remove the negative from battery than you don't have to worry about this happening again.

ESA states your never to work on live circuits . (period)
For your protection and for your car's in this particular case. Half of all people's electrical problems would be prevented if they disconneced the battery.

When you made a dead short did you hear anything like a pop or a spark?

Hopefully the fuse blew before any wires fried and created an open circuit or else your s.o.o.l.

They're all on the same circuit dude, think about it, they all turn on at once when you flick on the lights at night.

Those fuses are set to blow before anything else in the circuit. You should be fine.
