Hi, I recently installed a p28 Crome chipped ECU and after a stand still launch with the car hitting the limiter at 8800 rpms, I noticed the check light flashing . It flashed once every time the car hit the limiter and I was just wondering if there is something wrong, or if this is normal. I do not have the check light as a shift light feature either.

 

That is your don't blow the engine light, lol. Seriously, check the bin to be sure you don't have the shift light checked or it could be another crome bug.

 

I know i just tuned mine on crome when i get caught in traffic for a long period of time i get the code 17 and their is nothing wrong with speedo im guessin crome bug cause i only get it once in a while

Its not a crome bug.. so relax.
its a shift light, thats all. your tuner must have put that in there for you and failed to remind you he did.

its there kindof like a big shifter tack light, just not as annoying its nice, i have it on mine.
