so what is a good swap for these cars by swap i am talking about either whole engine swap or maybe swapping out heads for a better set-up, i would just like to know what seems to be more popular and common thing to do.

 

B-series DOHC VTEC.

 

well since you already have a vtec head just buy a b18a/b block and put the y8 head from your motor onto the ls block. and keep your y8 transmission for the close gear ratios and factory oem lsd.

 

Don't listen to this 19-year-old. He spews so much garbage it's sickening. What he just told you is wrong and won't work.

 

b18c (GRS or Type R) or b16a or b16b (CTR) are your best bet, depends on how much u want tp spend. from $2000~$4500 for complete swap..if u are on a budget, b18b is the one simply drop in.plug and play. pm me if u need more info

 

yea dont listen to him u cant put a Sohc on a B series engine cuz they come Dohc.....go with a B series or forge your internals then boost it......
