97 Civic Ex y8 to b18b Swap
Hey Everybody, Im semi new to working on hondas and I am getting ready to do my first swap and im just looking for a little advice to make sure im ready before i get in over my head.
I have a 97 EX with a blown y8, have all the stock parts from the car.
I just pulled the motor from my 96 Integra rs.
So what i have for parts is new mounts I ordered for the b series to fit in the ex, engine harness off the b18, have the stock ls tranny and linkages and new axels, obviously the complete block/head intake ect.. and the p75 ecu.
Is there any re wiring im going to have to do with the harness or should it all plug and play because both motors are obd2?
Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks all!

Re: 97 Civic Ex y8 to b18b Swap
You need the rear T bracket from a 99-00 Si and the block mounted mount from the 99-00 Si. Swap will be plug and play mostly. The only real differences are the CKF is 2 wire vs 3 wire. You'll have some extra plugs left over from VTEC.

Awesome, thank you so much! I bought yonaka si mounts, actually came in the mail today. So I will (obviously) have the wires from the vtec selinoid left over, I'll also have an extra wire on my intake won't i? I heard a lot of the civics are 2 wire intakes

You can just reuse your intake air temp sensor and put it in the intake you will be using. That or you could solder on the B18's style connector and use the one on the B18's intake manifold.
