Coolant Draining Really Fast/Overheating. Whats going on??
my coolant keeps draining really fast and overheats if the coolant is out. the guy i bought it off from says that the head gasket was blown, but then when i looked at the rebuild papers it said that when vtec kicks in heavy grey/black smoke comes out and that the valve stems needed to replaced along with the piston rings and spark plugs. is this just those things or do i really need to replace my head gasket?? help me out please.

The head gasket is the same for your overbore.

The more your drive, the greater the risk of increased repair cost.

stock hg can go to .40 over, which is 82mm safely. u can prolly do .60 over but that would really be pushing and asking for trouble.
does anyone know how to fix this problem if i took it to them?? ill pay you to fix the head gasket and replace the piston rings. ill provide the parts and ill pay the labor to you.
I wouldnt drive tha car in tha condition that its in....cause tha more driving more damage you can do to tha internals...like your head will get warped and so will tha top deck of tha block...g/l tho

Replacing a headgasket is essentially "easy" just as in any other gasket replacement, you simply remove the old and place in the new.
However, the headgasket requires a removal of a lot of parts to get to and proper removal of the old one and placement of the new one.
Cheap yet good means a small local shop. I know of a few...but i'm in New York. Which is why that question should be answered by locals, which you may find a few here (in the cali sub forum I suppose) but more likely IN REAL LIFE off the internets.
