couldn't find the other thread. I hope you aren't the same person that posted this topic a while ago..
Go look at some engine bay shots in A/C, specifically the ones that have valve covers that say VTEC and have a big snail looking thing between the radiator and engine. Then head over to the forced induction forum, start reading.

VTEC helps the engine perform better, the engine spools the turbo.
VTEC has no direct correlation with "how good" the turbo spools. That would be no different than saying a better flowing intake manifold makes the turbo spool better. It increases engine performance increasing turbo efficiency, but like I said, has no direct correlation with the turbo.
@ OP:
No, that's a myth created by some dumb ricer bastard.

while they are by no means detrimental to each other, it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in a set of cam gears. When Vtec opens it goes to a very NA based camshaft profile, thus having tons of valve overlap. Well if the exhaust valve is still open while pressurized air is coming in, even tho it might be reading 15 lbs of boost in the manifold i can guarantee that at least 10% or 15% of that is escaping out the exhaust valve in the actual cylinder. If you're running a ridiculous manifold (Full-race, Nuekin) then the effects will be less... read this...
