How do I troubleshoot my headlights?

My driverside headlight fuse keeps blowing. When this happens, my highbeams come on very dim also. I don't know really where to look. My passenger headlight is fine and never has any problems so I don't think it is the headlight relay, but I could be wrong. I'm figuring it is a ground point, but I am clueless on where the ground points for the driverside headlight is.
Anyone have any ideas or experience in this area? TIA

No, plugs are good and fine. No signs of melting anywhere just keep popping fuses as soon as I put it in and turn on the headlights.

Good idea. Should I trace from the headlight all the way to the fuse box? I'm new to troubleshooting lighting.
actually, what i'd check is where it enters around the fender, atleast thats where i think it enters to be "hidden" to go to the fuse box. See if it got cut around there.. But also do as ^^ says

1995 Honda Accord Ex 2 door. Thanks.
I think I might have found the problem, I unplugged the drivers side high beam and plugged in a new fuse, drove for a while to work and the drivers side still works!! I think I see a partial break in the wire, but it is real dirty in my engine bay so I will need to look at it after work.

I'm not sure, but it doesn't look like the bulb. I haven't had time to really check it out, but I'll update as soon as possible. If you can post up the page for it, that would be great if it is not the bulb itself. Thanks.
i would have to say the problem is in the bulb or the affected wire that has the cut in it. but the process of elimnation is the connector is unpluged and now it does not blow the fuse so i would be looking at the bulb of connector ...
