it gets really annoying that my car idles for such a long time, it sounds horrible? im still working on this Naturally Aspirated h23a1 and some of the work thats been done is AEM cold air intake, DC sport headers, magnaflow CAT, and Megan Cat-back (from the question i posted earlier). ive even changed the o2 sensor if that had anything to do with it? I'm still planing to add a new throttle body an intake manifold and venom fuel injectors and to top it off i want to get new dual cam sprockets and fix the timing. will this fix the idle problem?

 

o ya i had the same problem when my car just wouldnt die out and kept idling!




try resetting your ecu

 

well the rpm goes up and then it goes down repeatedly until i put it into gear. I think iv'e already reset the computer when i disconnected the negative battery terminal for over a week. I don't know if that did the trick or not

 

did you try a search. its the red button in the right top corner. search it bc mgags7 did a nice write up on it.

Somehow when you installed your basic bolt-on parts you created a vacuum leak. Fix it
