*** IGNITION PROBLEM???? ************
Took the distributor off and cause a friend needed it to test it on their car. Once we re-installed it back it was fine for about the first 15 mins of driving. Once the car got hot it started to stutter. I had this exact stutter 3 months ago and I changed the plugs at that time and the car was fine until today. We marked the position of the distributor so I don't think timing is the issue or is it? It stutters at idel and under acceleration. Could plugs have gone bad that fast? Do I have to adjust timing using a gun after re-istalling the distributor? What stumps me the car drove fine for a little while and only started stuttering once it got warm.
Yeah - it drove fine for a little while but after it started to bog... I will try advancing the timing on the distributor a bit as a first step I guess. After that rotor and cap? Or ignitor? Not quite sure where to start....

changed the cap n rotor - car runs worse now!!! WTF????
also noticed some water around the 2nd cylinder plug - dried it up but car still stutters... Will try changing plugs today I guess and next step wires after that.

ok - checked all 4 plugs+wires and they seem to be ok...
when i set the timing to 16 deg. the car misfires a lot. Misfires seem to dissapear if I advance the distributor timing a lot (like almost all the way). This doesn't seem normal?? Could a bad ground have something to do with this?? I am stumped...

sounds like some one steamed cleaned the motor and got water in the plug wire ends i would check all of the wire ends at the cap also.

Change your wires for a test. Sounds like you have a plug wires that is bleeding the spark and grounding out on something.
Then give us an update.
