I will start a list, others help me out some.

-Jack
-JACK STANDS
-Chalk for back tire, also yank the brake
-10, 12, 14, 17mm Sockets.... Deep and Shallow well. I use both 3/8 and 1/2 drive
-Wrenches of same degree
-Hammer
-Pickle Fork
-36mm Socket for Axle nut
-Channel Locks... Removing clips on Radiator hoses and for those stubborn Elec. Plugs
-Cherry Picker/Old Oak Tree with come along/ great imagination with pulley system
-Chain, you will find it 10x easier if you have a balancer on the chain
-Ant spray if you're working on the ground
-Safety goggles to look like Joe Dirt
-Bucket(s) to put nuts and bolts in. Might be helpful to use more than one to help you remember where what goes, I don't do this but some people have hard time remembering where which one goes
-Container to catch oil, transmission, radiator fluids if you plan on changing them
-Case of Budlight
-Loud Music
-Hot girlfriend to aid in handing tools while under car, and of course periodic breaks...I have always experienced that they like to keep you hydrated too

What's the pickle fork for? Removing the lower ball joint?

I wouldn't recommend it, since you'll likely rip the rubber boot. Instead, get a BFH (big fawking hammer), and just hit the LCA. It'll pop out with a few hard whacks. (put the castle nut on to protect the threads though)

Another tip is to get a box of ziplock bags. Preferably with the label in front. So when you're removing nuts and bolts, you can easily label the ziplock bag with the contents and retrieve them when putting the motor back. There's nothing worse than digging through a bucket of nuts and bolts.

If you haven't changed your tbelt yet it would greatly help to get a pully holder attachment and a couple of breaker bars. You also need a helms manual. I put the small hardware in bags and labeled each bag with the number from the step I was on in the manual. Also I didn't remove my axle nuts. You shouldn't need to either unless you are swaping axles.
