I want to buy si or eg6 interior door panels but I want to know how hard it is to convert to power windows...and locks

wow that is pretty easy from the looks of it,

so you get the underdash harness, and both door harness and you dont have to do any wiring just plug it all in and thats it....

 

also get the actuators, I didn't see much about the locks how do the locks work with the power I didn't see any pics of installing that...


now, will these ex or si harness work for the JDM switches and door locks...

 

wait a minute. wtf r u serious is that all you have to do to convert to auto windows? holy &*%& thats easy. y did i think there was alot more involved.

 

It's not that hard at all, just time consuming. I did it on my EJ1 i had.

I heard that having power windows on the hatchback is not good because its slow? Anyone who's done it have any issues? Do you reccomend it?

 

really, what do you mean buy slow...? it should have the same size alt and battery regardless of the car...

anyone have problems like this

 

Ill get the guy who told me this to post here later on. I basically wanted to make my EH3 more modern and luxurious when i get it and he told me i shouldnt do the power locks conversion bc its slow to close and open the windows. It should be a pretty easy swap. I believe howstuffworks.com has an article on how they work so check that out.
